Personnelly, I have found Aquage Uplifting Foam to work amazingly. It gives my hair lift, body, and an overall thickness. I often get comments that I have fantastic hair when really my hair is pretty ordinary.
Very fine, thin, stick straight 72 year old hair here. Just started using Color WOW Extra Large bombshell volumizer and I think I like it. At the end of the day, if I try to brush through it, I get static electricity and my hair becomes unmanageable. What can I do?

I have fine, this hair that knots so easily😢 If any girlies have with the same hair have any products tips please share😊 i absolutely cannot use mousse because i cant brush it and blowdring causes tangles. My hair is literally a sh*t show😂

I bought the colorwow for my birthday as a "treat" but I havent had time to even open the box.. I just wanted to say, from someone living in FLORIDA, I was so glad you did a *humidity test!!* Anyone can look good at home in their bathroom… going out into the world and battling the elements is what makes or breaks a product.
Florida humidity waits for you on the front porch to attack your hair and makeup, ensuring you look like crap, and wasted 30mins getting ready in the am lol

The Pureology Instant Levitation Mist helped me because I have fine, curly hair. It helps build volume in a way that still looks shiny and moisturized. I can see how it would not be good for straight hair though, because it does give a sort of shiny and moisturized look.

Oribe Dry Texturizing spray is the best product for volume and styling. Beats everything else. There’s just no comparison. Worth every penny.

Why not just add the product, comb through and let air dry? That would be the most accurate test.

a great series in the making? How about repeating the exact same process as this video with different heat protectants and humidity protectants….would be very interesting to see the results. Not everything in a line is "top-shelf". I will be a forever user of pureology leave-in conditioner for my hair (course and extremely dry), unless they change the formula!
After having lost massive amounts of hair in the last several years, I gave in and purchased some Color Wow after seeing all the ads on FB. I have to agree!! I’m blown away at how much better it makes my hair look!!! It gets better after sleeping on it too! I only wash my hair once a week at most and it stays clean and smooth the entire time! Also my hair texture has changed dramatically too. It’s very frizzy looking maybe because of all the gray. 🤷♀️ Color Wow keeps it smooth and shiny!! ❤❤❤. EXCELLENT video!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve been using the Color Wow, but was also using another product of theirs with it. I have very thin and fine hair….and less of it at 70! Guess I’ll stick with only using their Xtra Large! Thank you SO much for your experiment, as I always wondered if I only needed that one product.😊

I used Tresemme for yrs and my hair kept getting thinner and thinner and then I found out about the law suit for their shampoo causing hair loss. I stopped using it right away and my hair has slowly stopped falling out as bad. I will NEVER use Tresemme again! My beautician said to be careful of many shampoos, lots out there that are bad. Wella products are amazing and a decent price.

Another determining factor (for me) is: how difficult is it to wash out. I only use the better volumizers, no drugstore brands, but some of the expensive ones I’ve explored are like cement when it comes time to shampoo. I have color treated red hair so I never go back to the volumizers or root boost products that do not easily wash out.
I think you should have slept with all of these heads.
Looking for best drugstore brands hairspray for holding fine hair? Something you can buy at Walmart or Target please.
I am wondering if you have an opinion on Oribe shampoo. I just purchased the Gold Dust and after two uses, really like it. I natural wave so my hair usually feels course, but I think it’s feeling softer

I just tried Color Wow for the first time today after watching your tests. And yes, Wow! My fine hair feels like I’m wearing someone else’s! More texture, thick feeling and bounce. Love it. And I have tried the Amika, Kenra thickening/smoothing, Olaplex, and many others. None work as well.
what is your opinion of Kerastace shampoo and conditioner?
